This new house in Kelvin Grove was DA approved by Brisbane City Council. The site was affected by the small lot code and traditional building character design overlay, additionally there was some significant slope to the property. Urban Planners Queensland obtained development approval for this house which required a number of performance outcomes to be met against the planning scheme.
This dwelling house in Paddington required minor demolition work and building work approval under Brisbane City Plan 2014. When viewed from the street the alterations were limited to a raise and build under, removal of post-war additions and new balustrade.
This post war dwelling located in Clayfield was approved for building work to alter the front facade. Whilst not of pre-1947 construction, being in the traditional building character overlay all building work to the front of the dwelling is assessable and must meet the relevant codes of Brisbane City Plan 2014.

This three storey home in Greenslopes was the result of extensive negotiations with Brisbane City Council. The client approached Urban Planners Queensland with a lapsed development approval for a three storey design. UPQ successfully negotiated an outcome which was a compromise between the old approval under a previous planning scheme and the new planning scheme.
