MODIFICATION TO AN EXISTING APPROVAL
You’ve already obtained development approval, but now you want to make some changes. UPQ can provide advice on how to go about formalising changes to a building post-approval. A low level Generally in Accordance may be required or a full Modification Request. Please contact us for a free quote.

Do you have a building design in your head or already drawn up? We can provide advice on specific Council requirements and any changes that may be required.
Urban Planners Queensland is RiskSmart accredited by Brisbane City Council for Houses and Subdivisions. Contact UPQ and we can provide advice on whether your development qualifies and any required amendments. RiskSmart development applications include a 20% Council fee reduction and approval within a week.
Sometimes a development goes well outside the Council requirements. This doesn’t necessarily mean that it isn’t possible but it may be advised that you commence negotiations with your local Council prior to investing too much time and effort into a high risk project.
PROPERLY MADE SUBMISSIONS
Is there development going on in your area that you do not agree with, or alternatively, that you want to support? UPQ can prepare a ‘Properly Made Submission’ based on legitimate Town Planning grounds, which will give extra weighting to your stance. Fees will range from $250-$1,000, depending on submission requirements.
